Mission
The Fairport Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents in the Fairport/Perinton community by supporting a broad range of programs and projects that:
- Advance education
- Advance the arts
- Preserve local history
- Preserve the environment
- Support community initiatives
Activities
The Fairport Foundation has been incorporated to provide a charitable structure that will enhance the ability of existing community organizations to obtain funds necessary to implement programs, execute plans and sustain operations vital to well-being of the community.
Specific areas of support are to include public art; performing arts; collection of oral, written and visual histories; environmental initiatives; development of public facilities and monuments; fundraising efforts; and other endeavors that meet the needs and goals of the community and are consistent with the purposes of the Fairport Foundation.
