Junior Achievement Pilot Program
Fairport Foundation is excited to announce the relaunch of our association with Junior Achievement of Central Upstate NY to bring high-quality, real-world financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career-readiness programming to the Fairport Central School District.
Our organization began this work just prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. In Fall 2019, we successfully piloted JA It’s My Future® at Johanna Perrin Middle School, with hopes to expand the pilot program in the Spring of 2020 and further into the district in the 2020–2021 school year. Unfortunately, the pandemic interrupted those plans and halted further implementation.
Today, with strong community support, school interest and renewed momentum, we are ready to begin again, launching a New Pilot Program at Northside Elementary School in the Spring 2026. With success we hope to bring more Junior Achievement programs to more Fairport Schools in future years. These programs provide students with essential skills in money management, problem-solving, career exploration, and understanding of the world of work.
Why Your Support Matters
Junior Achievement programming relies on a blend of financial sponsorship and community volunteer participation. To bring these life-changing programs to the students of Fairport our organization needs:
· Funding for curriculum kits and student materials
· Funding and Locations to host volunteer training and program information sessions
· Volunteers for Instructors to facilitate programs in classrooms
· Volunteers to help coordinate programs and other initiatives
How You Can Get Involved
A link below connects to a Pledge Form that outlines several ways to contribute including financial gifts, employee or individual volunteer participation and partnership opportunities. The primary purpose of the Pledge Form is to help us understand interest levels and commitments as we plan for the future; however, if you are interested in making a contribution during the 2025 calendar year, we are fully prepared to accept donations now to support the Spring 2026 pilot as well as future Junior Achievement programming in Fairport schools.
Your investment will not only support the Spring 2026 pilot program at Northside Elementary but will also help future efforts to bring additional JA Programs in Fairport Schools with the hope that together we can impact thousands of students in the years to come.
Thank you in advance for your willingness to support this renewed effort and for your commitment to the future of our students and our community. We look forward to partnering with you to bring Junior Achievement to Fairport Schools.
